About this course
Make better photographs with the camera you already own. Composition, light, exposure basics, then editing for colour and clarity — applied to the work Nigerian photographers actually get paid for: products, food, events, portraits and church services.

A curated photo set
Twelve edited photographs across two assignments — one product or food set and one event or portrait set — with a short note on the decisions behind each.

You can perform the task independently, without the instructor repeating the steps, and fix the obvious problems when they appear.

Do I need a DSLR or mirrorless camera?+
No. The course is taught on smartphones because that is what most paid work in Nigeria is now shot on, and the principles of composition and light are identical. We explain what a dedicated camera genuinely adds and when it is worth buying.
Is this the same as the photo part of Content Creation?+
Content Creation covers still photography briefly as part of video and social work. This course goes deep on photography alone — composition, light, exposure and editing — for people who want photographs as the product.
