About this course
Someone who develops a skill can eventually teach that skill to others, and teaching is often the highest-margin way to use it. This course covers what makes teaching work: understanding learners, writing objectives, planning lessons, breaking complex topics into steps, demonstrating, practising, giving feedback and assessing.
Then the digital layer: online classrooms, video meetings, screen sharing, whiteboards, recording lessons, building materials, assignments and quizzes — ending with you delivering a real short online lesson.

Online Teaching — questions

I have never taught before. Can I take this?+
Yes — the course assumes no teaching experience. What it does assume is that you know a subject well enough to teach it, whether that is Excel, sewing, mathematics, a language or a trade skill.
Do I need to record myself teaching?+
The final project is a short lesson delivered live to the class and recorded. Recording matters because watching yourself teach is the fastest way to improve, and a recorded lesson is also portfolio material you can show to schools, clients or students.
Will this help me earn as a tutor?+
Directly. Nigerian parents and professionals pay for structured tutoring, and most tutors lose clients because the teaching is unstructured rather than because the subject knowledge is weak. A lesson plan, materials and clear assessment are what make a tutor look professional and get renewed.
Is this the same as your train-the-trainer work for instructors?+
